Access advice and treatment for six common conditions
The Pharmacy First Service in England offers access to advice and treatments, where clinically appropriate, for the following six common conditions through NHS online pharmacies. Eligibility criteria applies to each condition.
- Sore Throat
- Shingles
- Earache
- Sinusitis
- Impetigo
- Infected Insect Bites
- Uncomplicated UTIs
How the NHS Pharmacy First Service works?
As an NHS online pharmacy, we can offer remote consultations to patients in England for the six common conditions. If you have symptoms of one of the six conditions, you can book an appointment online. Our pharmacy team will assess your eligibility during the consultation. Eligible patients will be offered expert advice and if clinically appropriate, a treatment for their condition. Treatments will be sent to your address by post.
You may also be referred by your doctor, surgery or another healthcare professional to a participating pharmacy for expert advice and treatment, if clinically appropriate.
